Subject matter: Are Nottingham's music venues under threat?

Why did I choose this idea?

I chose this idea as I have a lot of primary research experience already from my multiple visits to a variety of Nottingham music venues. This is a list of all music venues I have been to so far within Nottingham:

• Motorpoint Arena

• Rock City

• Rescue Rooms

• Rough Trade

Apart from Motorpoint Arena, all these venues are classed as independent, which gives more of a first-hand experience as collectively I have been to the independent venues 15 times so far over 3 years. It also means that over that time, I have seen these venues change and develop, either for the better or for the worst.
